COME CREATE HISTORY WITH US!
Something pretty special is coming to American Falls!
On September 16th from 8:30–10:30 AM, Idaho’s Liberty Bell replica will make its stop in front of the Power County Courthouse as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary!
And we’re turning its visit into a true Power County celebration!
Lamb Weston is bringing the fry truck and will be cooking and giving away FREE tater rounds!
Ridley’s will be serving FREE donuts and hot apple cider!
Gary & Rosanne Fitzgerald will have their beautiful ceramic eagles on display.
The American Legion will have a special display of flags and will present the Colors to begin our ceremony.
Paige Ann will sing our National Anthem, followed by Mayor Gilbert Hofmeister ringing the Liberty Bell!
Then stick around! Paige Ann & Judd Erickson will fill the morning with patriotic and American music until 10:30 AM.
We’ll also have photo opportunities, so bring your family, your kids and your camera!
And the best part?
YOU will have the opportunity to ring the Liberty Bell!
This replica was given to the State of Idaho in 1950 and has stood in front of our State Capitol for decades. It has recently been reforged and retuned, and now it is traveling our state once again.
