he Interstate Kings are a band of believing brothers, originally from Maine and currently based in Nashville, TN. Hard working and visionary from the start, they've built their music into a nation-spanning tour de force, performing high energy, entertaining live shows in over 15 states and counting. Their newest album Vintage American breaks open the American dream, exploring the search for purpose through lyricist David Young’s tapestry of characters, storytelling, and bluesy tongue-in-cheek euphemisms.
The power trio’s tight-knit instrumentation provides its dynamic foundation. Honed by years of performing across the USA, their signature bar-rock swagger and groove is infused with elements of Piedmont and Texas Blues, 70s singer-songwriter, and Outlaw Country. Calling to mind roots-rock mainstays such as Tom Petty, Sturgill Simpson, and CCR, Vintage American delivers as a sonic and lyrical road trip that undeniably lives up to The Interstate Kings’ name.
