The Opskamatrists is a Ska/Reggae/Punk band from Idaho Falls, Idaho. The band was originally formed in late 1998 by brothers Bruce Christensen and Chad Christensen. The band originally formed under the name “Super Skank” but was changed to The
Opskamatrists in 2005. Over the years The Opskamatrists have had over 25 different members come and go with Bruce and Chad being the only original members left. They have played many shows around Eastern Idaho and frequently venture out to play all over the western United States.

The Opskamatrists have been featured on a famous ska radio program called Ska Parade with Tazy Phyllipz, as well as
being interviewed and receiving shout-outs from many local music promoters and record companies.

In 2004, The Opskamatrists released their long-awaited, self titled album. This album continues to be a fan favorite more than ten years later! In 2014, the iconic “States that End in Ska” EP was released, along with the fan favorite song, “Routine”.
