Honky-Tonk is a niche type of variety band. To
cover the bases of country music, you can play
everything from blues, to bluegrass, to swing,
to rock - country takes on so many flavors. In
any given show, we’ll have many different
types of songs. You can expect popular
drinking songs and rowdy tunes like ‘Smoke,
Smoke, Smoke that Cigarette’ and ‘Hot Rod
Lincoln’.

High Horse has opened for Easton Corbin and
a handful of national touring bands. They're in
steady rotation at the historic country bars
around Phoenix, including Handlebar J in
Scottsdale, the Dirty Drummer in Phoenix, and
Harold's Corral in Cave Creek. The band is
formed and maintained through Cole’s
connections with musicians at local bar Horse
and Hyde, where he is a frequent figure,
hosting open mic on Wednesdays and
coordinating the weekly talent.

The band is amorphous, featuring different
lineups show to show. However, the musicians
are always top-notch. Cole Clark and High
Horse invite the audience on a spirited, twangy
journey through a uniquely American tradition.
