RIRIE HAUNT THE TOWN 2026 IS HERE!

This Halloween, Fix It Rite Truck & Auto is hosting Ririe Haunt the Town — a Halloween Home Decorating Contest + Trick-or-Treat Trail!
We’re inviting local homes and businesses within 1.5 miles of the city park to decorate, join the official digital map, and help make Halloween week a fun community event for families throughout Ririe.
There are two ways to participate:
$25 Contest Entry — includes digital map placement, an official contest sign, judging, People’s Choice voting, and prize eligibility
$5 Trick-or-Treat Map Only — includes digital map placement and official trail participation without entering the decorating competition
*All locations must be within 1.5 miles if the Ririe City Park.
All participating locations must offer candy, treats, non-food goodies, or another kid-friendly giveaway on Halloween night from 6:30–8:30 PM, following Ririe’s trunk-or-treat.
Contest awards include:
  • Grand Prize — $250 minimum cash OR 25% of qualifying funds raised, whichever is greater, plus a gift basket
  • Spookiest
  • Kid-Friendly
  • Most Unique/Creative
  • People’s Choice (People’s Choice voting will be open during Halloween week and closes at 11:59 PM on October 31.)

Registration closes October 21

Trick-or-Treat Trail: October 31 | 6:30–8:30 PM

Winners announced November 2

The digital map will also help families identify:

  • Traditional Treat Stops
  • Teal Pumpkin/non-food options
  • Displays available to view before Halloween
  • Extra Spooky locations
  • Little-Kid Friendly stops
  • People’s Choice eligible homes
Giving back to TWO local causes:
Proceeds from Ririe Haunt the Town will benefit both the Eastern Idaho Hot Mess Express Affiliate and the Ririe Community Athletic Alliance, helping support local families and youth right here in our community.
Fix It Rite Truck & Auto is hosting and operating the fundraiser.
Local businesses are also encouraged to get involved by decorating, sponsoring the event, donating prizes, gift cards, candy, baskets, printing, or other support. We’d love to see the whole town get festive!
